When Video Networks chose VSC Design they were looking for a technical solutions provider with experience in transmission control monitoring systems.

Due to the rapid expansion of their digital TV, radio and video-on-demand (VOD) services (supplied under the brand name HomeChoice) Video Networks needed  a new head end monitoring facility. The core of the monitoring in the new facility is provided by Zandar multiviewers for the TV services and Chromatec AMUs for the radio services. A Quartz router allows any source to be routed to a pair of MCR monitoring stations. These used JVC monitors for video monitoring & VSCs audio monitoring units.

VNL_2VSC’s extensive track record of working to tight timescales ensured that the system was delivered two weeks ahead of schedule. To enable the client’s deadline to be met, VSC used it’s secure offsite manufacturing  capability to prefabricate the system whilst the site was being prepared. Video Networks completed an off-site acceptance of the complete system before it was taken apart, packed up and delivered to site. Constructing and commissioning the system on site took two weeks after which, following final acceptance, the system was handed over to the customer.
