Over the Christmas and New Year break VSC were selected by Turner to expand their busy Post Production Village.

The area has 12 multiformat VTs, 5 Avids with central storage, 2 Flames, FlipFactory and a variety of outboard processing equipment such as legalisers, cages, logo inserters, compressor limiters and audio shufflers.

The expansion involved the installation of a new Probel Sirius 7u" frame and the seperation of the Video and Audio across the two frames allowing for a larger SD/HD video level and a larger AES level. It was critical to Turner that the downtime was kept tightly inside this holiday period so as the production workflow was minimally impacted.

VSC's extensive knowledge of the configuration and testing of Probel routers was essential to the smooth and successful migration.
