 Live news studio, production and playout centre, Luanda, AngolaTV Zimbo describes itself as a station of independence, ethics, quality and creativity. They chose VSC to design, build and project manage the installation of their new complex, due to VSC’s proven track record and their ethos of hard work, quality of delivery and market leading creativity. Design from the ground up The whole complex infrastructure had to be designed from the ground up and had to be able to viably compete with the two state run national channels. The new facility is a brand new voice for the people of Angola.  Offsite constructionThe systems were predominantly assembled, tested and commissioned at VSC’s premises in West London, due to the difficulty in sourcing equipment and materials in Angola. This also enabled all building works to be completed in parallel thus reducing overall project lead time. Facilities The new playout complex enables the Studios to bring all their post production services in-house, ensuring greater cost efficiencies, continuity and faster turnaround services for their clients. The complex has two (four camera) news studios.TV Zimbo are able to cater for live audiences and have eight fully featured Final Cut edit suites to handle a full range of post production. Continuing support TV Zimbo continues to expand it's facilities to include a production studio for large live audiences with space for two large audience sets. VSC continues to provide both on site and remote support. "This project was always going to be tough due in part to our location.
